Q. I have a question on deeded garage spaces and am not sure if I have a case. I own a 4-floor townhome and the first floor is the 2 car garage. One space of the garage is deeded to a condo owner in the complex. I do not know if this is true, however I heard that a garage needs to have 2 exit points in case the door breaks and you are inside.

The only other exit is into my house so she does not have a key. My other concern is that she does not pay any homeowners insurance. If her car were to catch fire, there goes my home and belongings and she is left with no responsibility. I am wondering if there is any case for either getting her removed from the spot so I can own it or even at least getting her to pay half of my homeowners insurance.
