Q. We are a six unit building. We have scheduled a date for our annual elections but one of the owners has indicated that he isn't attending. He is the current board President.
Can we still hold the elections without him there?
A. Illinois condominium associations are required to hold an annual meeting in order to elect the members of the Board, who are tasked with handling the administration and maintenance of the building. While it can sometimes be difficult to get owners out to a meeting, the number of owners that must participate in order for elections to be conducted
