Q. I'm a unit owner in a new building as of 2018 and we don't have our PINs yet and need them desperately. 

The condo association has decided to split the potential tax bill by square footage which is totally unfair to me because I own a store front and paid less than half of everyone else.  How should the property taxes be handled?

A. When a condo building includes both commercial and residential units, there are two ways for a developer to record the condominium documents. Depending on how your condominium was recorded, there may be a very straightforward answer to this question.
