The City of Chicago has approved an Electric Aggregation Program that will automatically switch eligible residential and small business customers to a new electric supplier.
Integrys Energy Services is offering a competitive rate, which is promised to be lower than current ComEd rates.
The opt-out deadline for the program is January 9th. Customers should have received a letter from the city with opt-out information, including a returnable postcard. Customers can also opt-out by calling Integrys at 888-802-2885 or online at www.integrysenergy.com/il-chicago.
