First installment tax bills for 2012 have been released. The due date for payment is March 1st.
First installment tax bills are estimated bills calculated at 55% of the prior year's total tax bill. Actual taxes are calculated with the second installment tax bill, which will reflect any changes in assessed valuation, exemptions and tax rates.
To view your tax bill online, visit the Cook County Treasurer's website. You'll need your property's PIN to look up your tax information.
